Mining sector is one of the largest industrial sectors in Jordan, with phosphate and potash being the country's most important natural resources. The sector consists of large industries in terms of investment size, which contribute significantly to employing the local workforce and meeting the market's needs for primary, intermediate, and final products. The sector is distinguished by its use of the latest scientific methods in extracting and mining natural resources and converting them into products for export or local consumption.
