Executive Management

The executive management works to follow up the implementation of the policies and strategies of the board of directors and achieve its vision and aspirations in a way that serves the interests of the industrial sector.

The executive management is interested in translating the strategic plans and goals into specific work plans in a time frame and supervising their implementation; thus, the effective contribution to the success of the Chamber's strategic plan.

The executive management follows up its tasks through a specialized and efficient team that is able to follow these tasks. The executive team consists of the following main departments:


General Director 

The General Director is considered to be the head of the Chamber’s executive management pyramid, as he forms the link between the Chamber’s Board of Directors on the one hand and the various employees of the Chamber and its departments on the other hand, and he is directly responsible for formulating goals, planning and organizing the workflow ensuring that the desired results, strategic goals and policies of the Board of Directors are achieved.

It is the responsibility of the General Director to achieve separation between the tasks of the various departments, find a clear work path within the departments and sections of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, find a team work spirit and maintain the business path, thus, reaching an integrated work environment which is more able to accomplish effectively.

Among the most important tasks performed by the General Director are the following:

1. Follow-up on the daily activities of the Chamber and follow up as well as supervising the work of employees.

2. Planning and ensuring the implementation of board strategies and policies.

3. Distributing and coordinating work among the employees through the managers of the departments.

4. Supervising the preparation of annual work plans and submitting them to the Board of Directors.

5. Prepare for Board sessions and implement decisions issued by Board meetings.

6. Development of chamber services in line with the needs of the industrial sector.

7. Representing the Chamber in various local, regional and international forums and meetings.

8. Resource management and service improvement.


Deputy Director General

The Deputy Director General shall coordinate, plan, organize and monitor the internal administrative works and supervise administratively all the employees. He also has a direct follow-up to the work of each of the departments of Finance, Personnel and Administrative Affairs, Promotion and Communication.

Among the most important tasks performed by the Deputy Director General are:

1. Carry out the tasks assigned to him by the General Director.

2. Follow-up and administrative supervision of all employees through the application of the Chamber's internal regulations.

3. Participate in following up the implementation of daily work.

4. Representing the General Director in the event of absence for any matter such as holidays, in the event of illness, or traveling abroad.


Financial and Administrative Affairs Department

The Finance, Personnel and Administrative Affairs Department is responsible for organizing the work of three main units, which form the common services units of the other departments, namely; Resource management, logistics, and manpower development process.

The tasks of the Finance, Personnel and Administrative Affairs Department can be summarized as follows:

1. Developing the department's work in line with the strategic objectives of the Jordan Chamber of Industry.

2. Plan and organize the Chamber's resources in line with the Chamber's budget.

3. Managing cash flows and ensuring that there are sufficient financial resources to manage daily financial requirements.

4. Preparing the Chamber's financial statements and reports.

5. Prepare budgets related to the new hires and any expansion plans.

6. Managing human resources operations and attracting talents.

7. Manage salaries, promotions, increases, and incentives for employees.

8. Managing employee training and development programs.

9. Logistics and office supplies management.

10. Managing and developing the information technology system in the Chamber.


Sectors Services Department

The Sector Services Department is one of the main departments that play an important role in managing the Chamber's operations as it is responsible for administrating the relationship with the industrial sector according to the ten sub-sectors as well as managing services and development activities in the sector such as services for developing and supporting small and medium enterprises and services for developing alternative energy systems, in addition to managing.

Vocational training centers and associated employment services and other related services.

Its main tasks are as follows:

1. Developing the department's strategy in line with the strategic objectives of the Jordan Chamber of Industry.

2. Managing industrial sector relations and finding solutions to industrialists' problems.

3. Supporting the SME sector and presenting initiatives and solutions aimed at developing it.

4. Provide advice and advice in the field of energy management, export, etc.

5. Managing services related to the use of renewable energy in the industrial sector.

6. Management of vocational training centers that are under the responsibility of the Chamber of Industry.

7. Industrial Export Services Department.


International Cooperation Department

It is the responsibility of the International Cooperation Department to manage and develop the Chamber's international relations including relations with international organizations and international chambers of industry as well as managing projects with donors. This role is important, and it influences the ability of the Jordan Chamber of Industry to develop its relations with the global industrial community and to pave the way for opening new markets for Jordanian industry, in addition to opening the door for exchanging experiences and attracting support to the industrial sector.

The responsibilities of the International Cooperation Department can be summarized as follows:

1. Developing the department's strategy in line with the strategic goals of the Chamber of Industry.

2. Managing and developing relationships with international organizations, bodies and institutions operating in the industrial sector.

3. Managing and developing relationships with the Chambers of Industry and International Trade.

4. Presenting initiatives in the field of developing the relationship with the industrial community globally.

5. Management and planning of industrial sector development projects.

6. Work to attract international support and financing for industrial projects.


Studies and Strategies Department

The Studies and Strategies Department plays an important role in managing the strategic plan of the Jordan Chamber of Industry. This department provides support to the other departments in the Chamber by providing information, statistics and

studies that support the decision-making process in addition to its main role in reviewing the regulations, laws and instructions pertaining to the industrial sector in the Kingdom.

The responsibilities of the department are as follows:

1. Follow up the implementation of the Chamber of Industry strategic plan and the plans of the various departments.

2. Following up the performance of the various departments and their success in implementing the strategic plans laid down.

3. Preparing studies and statistics of the industrial market in Jordan.

4. Collect market data and save it within a database.

5. Carry out any other studies that may be required.

6. Development of chamber services in line with the needs of the market.

7. Development of legal consulting services.


Public Relations and Communication Unit

The Public Relations and Communication Unit is responsible for managing and activating internal and external communication, public relations and media relations. It is also responsible for organizing events and exhibitions for the industrial sector.

The responsibilities of the Public Relations and Communications Unit are summarized in the following:

1. Developing a communication and promotion strategy in line with the strategy of the Jordan Chamber of Industry.

2. Preparing the plan and budget for the promotional campaigns and communication of the Jordanian industry.

3. Organizing the participation of Jordanian industrialists in international industrial exhibitions and events.

4. Coordination with the Department of International Cooperation to organize visits and participation of members of the Chamber and representatives of the Jordanian industry in local and foreign industrial events.

5. Managing media relations and organizing industrial newsletters issued by the Chamber.

6. Managing the Chamber's website and social media in cooperation with the Information Technology Unit.



Information Technology Unit

1. Managing and operating the Internet and e-mail service, managing the Chamber's website, and supervising the development and updating of its contents.

2. Study the Chamber's needs (computers, software, accessories) and set the needed technical specifications.

3. Protect information and data, set them up, and take backup copies.

4. Helping to enter field survey information and analysis on the computer.

5. Provide advice on the most appropriate IT options.

6. Providing technical support or training for the systems and networks available in the chamber.

7. Monitor the efficiency of the work of computers, the information network and printing devices and verify their suitability for all requirements.

8. Follow-up and repair of technological breakdowns.
