Packaging and packaging sector is one of the high-quality and advanced sectors. It is one of the integrated sectors of all other industrial sectors, and even an integral part of the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The quality of the packaging, the type of printing and its design contribute to the promotion of the product. Therefore, the development and advancement of this sector has a positive impact on the work of other sectors.

According to the Cabinet decision that adopted the industrial sectors and defined the sub-sectors, the packaging, paper, cardboard and stationery industries sector includes the following sub-sectors: paper pulp and paper, paper products, excluding paper, printing, stationery, printing and packaging services, film services, production and engineering designs, packaging products of all kinds, and any other similar industries within the sector.
